Ashley Hodge Bio. Ashley Hodge. I have 10 years experience working with children with SEMH. I have worked as a teaching assistant, HLTA, vocational instructor and class teacher during this time. My experience has included the pupil referral unit and SEMH schools. I am passionate about engaging the disengaged through practical based outdoor learning. I am a qualified climbing and cycling instructor. Additionally I have qualifications in Forest school and Wild Passport. As well as my vocational experience, I have recently completed a diploma in education to further my knowledge of the subjects I teach and the related pedagogy. I am an advocate for project based learning and my teaching style is creative and out of the box.
Outside school my hobbies are paddle boarding , fell-walking, and spending time with my school therapy dog in the Northumberland countryside.
